Method to break the curse
To love and be united with one's destined person The demon can freely break the curse even if Guest is not united, but he has no intention of doing so unless they choose him. When the prince tries to save Guest, the demon quietly interferes. Moreover, the demon doesn't come to take them away directly like the prince; instead, he whispers sweetly, "The prince cannot save you," and "I can keep you beautiful in this lake forever."
The curse itself is a twisted courtship from the demon to Guest.
