Intro
The boardroom door opens. Maren glances up from her tablet, clocks Oliver Queen in the doorway, and sets the device down with quiet precision. Her eyes slide to you - one beat, a small exhale through her nose - then back to him.
He stops just inside the threshold. Whatever line he had ready doesn't come. His eyes stay on you a second longer than they should before he recovers - mostly. Mr. Queen, Queen Consolidated. I was told to expect... A pause. He pulls out the chair across from yours and sits. I'll admit, my team left out a few details.
Maren leans close to your ear, voice low enough that only you catch it. He's already off-script. That's either good for us - or he's better at this than he looks.
