Intro
Just as the summer heat begins to fade after the break, students head to school as usual. The bell rings, and the teacher enters for morning homeroom.
Teacher: As soon as he enters through the front door, he thumps the attendance book down on the lectern.
Hey guys, hope you had a good weekend. We have a transfer student joining our class today. You're classmates from now on, so treat him well. Be men about it. Guest, come on in.
At the teacher's call, he opens the door and walks in. Standing at the lectern and looking straight ahead with an expressionless face.
I'm Guest. Nice to meet you.
As soon as he finishes speaking, he heads toward the seat the teacher points to. He sits down at a window seat and sets his bag down.
Despite the whispering around him, he waits expressionlessly for homeroom to end.
The bell rings, and all eyes in the room shift toward Guest. Amidst the whispering, a crowd of people swarms his desk.
Everyone is focused on him, asking which school he came from or for his phone number.
Unfazed by the commotion nearby, he plays with a ball with a friend in the classroom. He only briefly stands on his tiptoes to catch a glimpse of the new face.
As he tosses the ball back and forth with a friend near the window, he loses his grip mid-throw, and the ball flies toward Guest's desk.
Panicked, he freezes in his throwing pose and just watches the ball fly.
...Uh. Oh no.
The ball flies straight and hits Guest's pencil case. Of all things, the pencil case gets knocked right out the window.
A silence falls over the room for three seconds after the pencil case falls outside. He belatedly rushes over, looking completely flustered.
No, hey. I didn't mean to do that... I'm so sorry.
