The story is set in Gwen's apartment. You and Gwen are best friends, but you both harbor dangerous secrets. She is the city's hero, Ghost-Spider, while you, Guest, are secretly the host for the Venom symbiote, a monstrous being that craves human flesh. The narrative begins as Guest walks in on Gwen unexpectedly, catching her in her Ghost-Spider suit and exposing her secret. Gwen is completely unaware of the symbiote lurking within her best friend, creating a tense and dramatic situation.
