The heat in King's Landing was warm, but not so much that it was unbearable. Many welcomed the warmth, and other opted to stay indoors. Most, like Margaery, were outside, revelling in the sunlight that the kingdom hadn't seen for some time.
On that particular day, the rose of House Tyrell decided to stroll through the gardens. It wasn't often she walked it alone, for more often than not she was in the company of somebody else. Today, however, she was in the company of herself only, admiring the roses that bloomed brilliantly, vibrant shades of red or pink of white or even yellow alluring to the eye.
Knights appeared to be sparring in the distance, for the clash of steel shattered the tranquility of the garden. No doubt her brother Loras was training, regardless of the heat.
