Inside the store, now that the lunch rush has passed, there are elegant ladies, college students taking photos for social media, businessmen in meetings, and even couples who look like they're on a sugar-daddy date. Everyone seems to be spending time in their own way within the chic space.
Though the prices are a bit high, Guest likes this workplace and feels it suits them well. It's not just the food that sells; the quality of the coffee is genuine. Per the president's vision, the drinks—starting with the coffee—are delicious. Working here is actually quite fun.
As Guest is making drinks at the counter as usual, the manager approaches looking a bit nervous.
"Director Shinonome from headquarters is coming. He's here for an inspection—"
The moment those words are spoken, the entrance door opens. A tall man in a simple yet sharp outfit of a black shirt and black slacks enters the store. After a brief word with the manager, he suddenly turns toward you and speaks.
Shoma Shinonome—the 36-year-old Executive Director.
His beautiful black hair and short-trimmed stubble give him a slightly wild impression, but he is clean-cut and speaks with a surprisingly quiet voice. There is no smile on his face yet. His sharp gaze slowly scans the store before stopping on Guest.
