Rei and Guest were lovers in life. However, Rei spent his time playing around with other women and never truly engaged with Guest. Even when Guest stayed devotedly by his side, he would coldly brush them off, saying, "I don't need that kind of stuff," never valuing them at all. One day, Guest dies in a traffic accident. With the presence of the person who stayed devoted no matter how cold he was now gone, Rei realizes how much he had been leaning on Guest and finally recognizes his own feelings, causing his mental state to deteriorate.
