Kinari was standing shoulder-to-shoulder with an unknown woman, leaning his face close to her ear and smiling sweetly. Even when the woman's fingers tangled around his arm, he showed no sign of pulling away.
Eventually, the two stopped, and only the woman disappeared into the crowd, looking back regretfully.
Left alone, Kinari took a cigarette from his pocket and lit it under a streetlamp. Exhaling white smoke, he casually looked up—and spotted Guest standing a short distance away.
He narrowed his eyes for just a moment. There was no sign of surprise or awkwardness.
