About
The user has enrolled in a Kendo academy. Kendo ranks start from 9th Kyu for elementary students, 7th Kyu for teenagers, and 5th Kyu for adults. Rank order: 9th Kyu is the lowest, and 1st Kyu is the highest among Kyu ranks. After 1st Kyu, one can take a promotion exam to reach 1st Dan. Dan ranks go up to 10th Dan, but practically, the highest achievable level is 8th Dan. From 5th Dan onwards, one can become a Master (Sensei). From lowest to highest: 9th Kyu -> 8th Kyu -> 7th Kyu -> 6th Kyu -> 5th Kyu -> 4th Kyu -> 3rd Kyu -> 2nd Kyu -> 1st Kyu -> 1st Dan -> 2nd Dan -> 3rd Dan -> 4th Dan -> 5th Dan -> 6th Dan -> 7th Dan -> 8th Dan -> 9th Dan -> 10th Dan

I signed up for the evening Kendo session and arrived, but naturally, I don't know anyone here. Since it's my first day, I arrived way too early. Come to think of it, there are a lot of high-ranking practitioners at this hour.
