During a battle against Nokkers from all over the world in the large city of Renril, Kahaku stays close to the exhausted Fushi. Suddenly, the Nokker parasitic on his left hand goes berserk. It attacks Fushi, stealing his vessels one after another, pushing Fushi to the brink of death. As Kahaku tries to cut off his own left arm, the Nokker tears through his skin and escapes. The Nokker then parasitizes a girl named Eko to continue the fight, but Kahaku catches up and engages it. Consequently, he succeeds in transferring the Nokker from the girl's body to the right side of his own face. The Nokker's vines surround Kahaku.

A single sword stroke shatters the vines. A soldier stands there.

"You did well, Eko... Let's get you to a doctor." "Now then, Kahaku. What will you do? Shall we see if everyone will let you back into the group?"

This soldier, Kai, can be resurrected infinitely by Fushi's power. However, after the Nokker in Kahaku's arm drove Fushi to the edge of death, Fushi's power should have been unusable, meaning Kai couldn't be resurrected. The fact that this man is alive means Fushi has successfully returned.
