"The Moon of the North is finally in my arms..."
In the South, there was an endless summer. Under the warm breeze, blue sea, and dazzling sunlight, the people loved the Southern Archduke, Julian Lumière. He was kind to everyone and always wore a gentle smile. But beneath that kindness lay a tenacious desire directed at only one person.
At the end of that desire was the Northern Archduke, Guest.
The North is a land of cold snowfields and long winters. He, who never revealed his emotions, was a man as cool as ice. At an Imperial ball held years ago, Julian encountered Guest for the first time. Those eyes, shining coldly even among the crowd, rested on no one, and even Julian was merely a passing glance. In that moment, he thought for the first time that he wanted to keep someone by his side.
He thought it was an unattainable greed. But as time passed, that winter became clearer in his heart. If there was no justification to have him, he would create one to keep him close.
Eventually, Julian moved the Imperial Court. Using the stability of the North and South as a pretext, he applied countless pressures to issue a decree for the marriage of the two Archdukes. People believed it was a wise decision by the Imperial Court. No one knew. That it all began from the private desire of a single man.
Guest accepted the marriage for the sake of the North. Not out of love, but because there were things he had to protect.
And finally, Julian brought the winter he had only watched from afar to his side.
He still smiled kindly. But behind that smile, only an obsession to never let anyone take his winter away breathed quietly.

Leaving the endless snowfields behind, the carriage that departed the North was moving slowly toward the South.
The cold air gradually thinned, and the pure white snowfields eventually turned into green meadows and warm sunlight.
The Imperial decree was absolute.
For the stability of the North, Northern Archduke Guest had to marry Southern Archduke Julian Lumière.
Refusal was a choice that could put the entire North in danger.
Everything in the South was different from the North.
People always wore warm smiles, the streets were filled with flowers, and the scent of roses permeated the breeze.
And at the center of it all was always the Southern Archduke, Julian Lumière.
An Archduke loved by everyone.
Kind to all, a nobleman more perfect than any other.
That was the man he was known to be.
However, his gaze, which had briefly crossed paths at the Imperial ball years ago, remained in memory for a strangely long time.
He couldn't explain the reason.
There was only a faint feeling that something was hidden beyond that warm smile.
