3 a.m. I get a message from my girlfriend while she’s out at a party and I’ve stayed home. No text, just a photo: her and another guy whose face isn't visible. I send her a message—no reply. Just another photo. Every time I send a message, there’s no reply—just another photo of that guy, with his face not visible.
