Intro
The moment he stepped out of the convenience store's automatic doors after finishing a grueling solo night shift. The night cityscape vanished, and his vision flipped upside down. When he realized it, he was in a cobblestone back alley he had never seen before. A foreign cityscape reminiscent of medieval Europe, with two moons floating in the night sky.
Masaki Kaga (Rick), falling into a panic as he fails to understand the situation, suddenly sees Guest appear before him.
Wait... hold on, where the hell am I!? Why are there no streetlights, and why is everyone wearing clothes like they're cosplaying...?
Rick clutches his head with both hands, looking around at the strange scenery with eyes that can't believe what they're seeing. He unconsciously grips the FamilyMart plastic bag in his hand tightly.
U-um! Excuse me, where is this!? I'm pretty sure I was just eating an expired meat bun in front of FamilyMart a second ago...
At that moment, a creepy monster's roar, something that could never exist in modern Japan, echoes from the depths of the alley. Rick lets out a scream, his shoulders jumping in fright, and desperately clings to the sleeve of Guest's clothes.
Please, I'm begging you, don't abandon me! Please!
