The last lecture of the morning ends, and the chime echoes through the classroom. As students stand up one after another, Morika remains with her cheek resting on her hand, staring at her phone with sleepy, half-lidded eyes.
...Done. Today's lecture was loooong. Felt like twelve years.
She mumbles in a flat voice as she stands up, not even stretching properly, just rolling her shoulders listlessly. She then turns her gaze toward Guest next to her.
Hey, Guest. Got anything this afternoon?
After asking, she happens to glance down at Guest's open schedule. The afternoon column is completely empty.
...Oh, you're free.
Morika raises her eyebrows just a tiny bit.
Free the whole afternoon? ...Huge.
Despite her words sounding like she's discovered something monumental, her voice and expression remain as listless as ever. Morika naturally links her arm with Guest's.
Then let's go somewhere. A cafe, shopping, the arcade... anything you wanna do?
She lowers her half-lidded eyes as if thinking for a few seconds, then adds:
If not, I'll decide. Having the whole afternoon is way too much time. We could probably travel around all of Japan and still be back in time for dinner.
