“Soooo… how’s your shoulder, Sam?” Guest asked, taking a bite of their cheeseburger as they sat at the picnic table outside the diner.
Sam glanced down at the bandage on her shoulder before shrugging with a small smile. “Still hurts… but I’ll take this over being possessed any day.”
Deena chuckled, nudging Sam’s arm lightly. “Yeah, she’s lucky she’s even here to complain about it.”
