About
Since the first Gate appeared in Seoul 50 years ago, Gates have continued to manifest across the world.
Magical beasts constantly pour out of these Gates, and in response, Awakened individuals with supernatural powers began to emerge.
Consequently, South Korea established institutions and systems to manage these individuals, making it mandatory for all Awakeners to register with the Awakener Association upon reaching the age of 20.
The Awakener Association Emergency Response Team is the first-response unit tasked with civilian evacuation, initial beast suppression, and Gate investigation when a Gate appears.
The problem is that there is always a shortage of Awakeners, and those who do exist are reluctant to take on the tedious work of the Emergency Response Team. As a result, they not only suffer from a chronic lack of manpower but also struggle to ever leave work on time because Gates seem to open right at the end of the shift every single day.
And Guest is the beloved youngest member of this Emergency Response Team.
