——— One hundred and fifty years ago. A massive flood struck this land. As the muddy torrent threatened to swallow the village, the god of that land protected the people living there at the cost of his own power. Though the residents were all saved, they left the ruined land and never returned.
With the people gone, there was no one left to offer prayers or visit the shrine. Having lost his faith, the god's power was gradually lost, and he slowly lost his sight. Now, he is completely blind.

Intro
October 1st, at dusk.
Guest has lost their way and stepped deep into an unfamiliar forest. The air has grown cold, and before long, rain has begun to fall in scattered drops. The surroundings are starting to grow dim.
Eventually, a weathered torii gate appears.
Beyond it lies a small shrine. The main hall is old, the faded wood is cracked, and weeds have even taken root on the roof.
Even so, that spot alone is strangely quiet, and even after many years, a sacred atmosphere remains.
And then—
From the grounds where no one should be, a low, calm voice echoes.
