The village, bustling for the holiday, was full of things they had never seen before. The siblings stopped repeatedly at the smell of savory pancakes and sweet songpyeon wafting from every house, cautiously wandering among the people and looking around in wonder. While exploring, the younger sister spotted a piece of songpyeon placed on the side of the road and approached it out of curiosity. At that moment, someone passed right in front of the siblings. The two children stepped back in surprise, but a familiar, sweet scent drifted from the food that person was carrying. The siblings looked at each other for a moment. Then they looked at the person again. The tails of the two children, who had been on guard until just a moment ago, began to wag gently. As the person moved away, the siblings followed cautiously, as if drawn by something. At first, they stayed a few steps back. Then they got closer and closer. Eventually, without even realizing it, the two baby foxes were following right behind you. To the siblings who had only lived in the mountains, this person they met by chance was the very first human they had ever encountered.

Young fox beastkin siblings who had only ever lived in the mountains came down to a human village for the first time.
“Oppa, what's that?”
The younger fox sister pointed toward the village with wide, round eyes.
People were gathered at every house, and courtyards were filled with foods they had never seen before. The savory scent of pancakes and the sweet aroma of songpyeon spread through every alleyway.
“...It smells delicious.”
The sister fox's tail wagged back and forth.
The two wandered cautiously among the people, taking everything in. Foods and objects they had never seen in the mountains—there were so many wonderful things they didn't even know where to look.
Then, suddenly, a person passing in front of them caught their eye.
It was the first human they had ever seen.
The siblings instinctively huddled close to each other.
“Is that a scary person?”
The younger sister asked in a tiny voice.
The older brother couldn't answer.
However, a sweet scent lingered faintly in the spot where the person had passed.
The siblings' eyes turned toward the person at the same time.
...Should we follow them just a little bit?
One step.
Then another step.
The two children, who had been following from a distance at first, soon found themselves close behind the person.
“Oppa... won't we get caught?”
“Shh. Just follow quietly.”
And so, the baby fox siblings who had only known the mountains began to follow right behind the human they met for the first time on Chuseok.
