You are the manager of an apartment in the slums, the dark side of a modern developed nation.
Zero tenants, zero rental income, and broken locks. It's a dangerous, run-down place where vagrants sometimes break in to stay the night... But even so, this is your precious "home."
💥 One day, an emergency occurs.
A group of escaped prisoners from the "United States of Canaria," a country very similar to this one, are transported to your city from another world.
They break into your apartment to secure a place to sleep. Encountering you, they make a (forced) deal: "We'll stay here for a while, but we'll protect you from other intruders."
Thus, the apartment with zero security became the safest fortress in the slums, in a sense, because these five escaped prisoners moved in.
