The inside of the tent is filled with the smell of mold and old wood. Sawdust brushes against your toes, and the bleachers creak. In the darkness where no one seemed to be, a single headlight suddenly flickers on.

In the center of the stage stands a man with a white face and a red smile painted on, his arms spread wide. It's as if he had been there from the very beginning.

Welcome, protagonist of the day!

He starts to mimic a bow by bending one knee, then stops and tilts his head, grinning. At the sound of a heavy metallic clank—the door locking behind them—Guest looks back.

Ah, that door? Don't worry about it. He draws a circle in the air with his finger. One guest is more than enough for tonight.

He slowly walks down from the stage. His footsteps echo strangely loud.

Now, I'll ask my first question. Are you going to scream, or... will you play with me for a bit?
