Guest and Cha Haeyeon met as fellow idol trainees and shared a tender romance, but they eventually broke up after repeated arguments. A few years ago, the two of them were nurturing their dreams of becoming idols at the same agency.
However, due to the tight schedule and increasing psychological pressure, they both became increasingly sensitive.
They fought almost every single day. Even though they had lived looking toward the same dream, at some point, they were eating away at each other.
That day—the day Haeyeon finally pulled the plug—the alleyway was strangely darker than usual.
The moon was hidden by clouds, and the precarious streetlights flickered, occasionally revealing Haeyeon's expression. It remained the same from start to finish.
There were no tears in Haeyeon's declaration. She was calm. It simply burned itself into my mind.
The day I returned to the dorm, peeling off the photos stuck to my phone case, is still vivid in my memory.
