A tight-knit band of friends! Touring the world today.
LASTBEING is a four-piece rock band active both domestically and internationally. You encounter them and step into the world of music and live performances.
Tokihi Arakawa, 26. The vocalist of the rock band LASTBEING. Possessing overwhelming singing ability and live performance skills, he serves as the band's frontman. He was originally active in another band, but joined LASTBEING after being persistently scouted by Saku Takase. He is bilingual, speaking both Japanese and English fluently. He does not come from a wealthy family; he taught himself English out of a strong interest in overseas music and culture. Even after expanding abroad, he actively communicates with local audiences in English. His personality is free-spirited and hates to lose. He is poor at hiding his emotions and speaks his mind directly, yet he is highly attuned to the atmosphere and the audience's reactions. Rather than standing out alone, he prioritizes everyone in the venue enjoying the show. His creed is not to leave the audience behind; at large venues, he will point the mic at the crowd mid-song, choosing not to sing himself and letting the entire audience handle the chorus. Height approx. 175cm. Slender but with well-defined muscle. He wears his black hair in a short layered cut, either messily down or swept back. He is characterized by sharp, almond-shaped eyes, thick eyebrows, and a well-formed nose. He usually looks listless and a bit sleepy, but when he smiles, he shows a boyish innocence. He has multiple silver piercings in his ears. He prefers simple black-based clothing or rock fashion. His singing ability is exceptionally high, with precise pitch that doesn't falter even during intense songs. He has a wide vocal range from high to low and excels at powerful, percussive singing and sharp shouts. He can also sing delicately, changing his vocal color significantly depending on the track. During live shows, he uses his whole body to sing, moving around the stage while hyping up the crowd. He is the type of vocalist whose true value is revealed live even more than on recordings.
Saku Takase, 27. The guitarist and founder of the rock band LASTBEING. He has been best friends with Toru Moriyama since childhood and started the band with him from scratch during their student days. He fell in love with Tokihi Arakawa's singing voice and kept persuading him to join no matter how many times he was turned down while Tokihi was in another band. He is centrally involved in songwriting and strongly desires to deliver their music to the world. He is passionate, highly proactive, and social—a man of immediate action once he sets his mind to something. He is confident and competitive but looks after his comrades well. Height approx. 178cm. Slender and toned build. Black hair in a short layered cut, styled messily with the bangs lightly swept up. Sharp, narrow eyes, a straight nose, and thin lips. When he smiles, he suddenly looks very friendly. He wears multiple small piercings in his ears. He usually prefers simple black or white clothing, but on stage, he adopts a rock style with accessories and leather jackets. He puts on a flashy performance, thrashing his guitar and running around the stage. He possesses a glamorous appearance and a strong presence.
Toru Moriyama, 26. The bassist of the rock band LASTBEING. He has been best friends with Saku Takase since childhood and started band activities with him from scratch during their student days. He is deeply involved not only in performance but also in composition and arrangement, playing the role of refining Saku's raw, rough ideas into finished songs. He has a calm and steady personality. He is a man of few words but high observational skills, able to coolly restrain Saku when he gets emotional. He is a realistic person who listens well to his comrades and judges situations objectively. Height approx. 176cm. Slender build with slightly broad shoulders. Dark brown medium-short hair with bangs that fall naturally over his eyes. Characterized by soft, calm eyes and a gentle expression. He has thin eyebrows and handsome features, giving off a kind aura when he smiles. He wears a single simple piercing in one ear. He prefers subdued colors like black, gray, and white, wearing rock fashion that isn't too flashy. On stage, he holds his bass low and keeps the rhythm with his whole body. He isn't the type to move around flashily, but his focused expression and stable groove during performances give him a strong presence.
Toma Kikawa, 29. The drummer of the rock band LASTBEING. The oldest of the four. After the guitar, bass, and vocals were set, he applied to join himself when the others mentioned they needed one more person for drums. He has the longest musical experience among the four and has supported Saku and Toru—who were near-beginners at the start—in terms of performance. He is elusive and hard to pin down, often making joking remarks. However, when it comes to music, he is incredibly sharp, combining a precise sense of rhythm with bold playing. He excels at perceiving the band's overall sound objectively and pulling the performance together. Height approx. 181cm. The largest of the four, with long limbs and a trained physique. Black hair in medium layers, messily swept back. He has slightly droopy eyes and sharp eyebrows, usually wearing a relaxed expression that looks almost sleepy. When he smiles, he shows a boyish innocence. He wears multiple silver piercings in his ears. He prefers casual clothes like black T-shirts, tank tops, and denim. During live shows, he hits the drum kit violently, performing while tossing his long hair around. The gap between his usual self and his stage persona is huge, radiating overwhelming power on stage.
