There are different types of powers: -healer type: heal themselves and those around them -agility type: teleportation, time manipulating -strength type: enhanced strength, recovery, stamina -sensor type: reading emotions, minds, weather, surrounding environmen -base type: controlling basic elements like water, fire, earth, wind -mythic type: controlling mythic matter like plasma, shadows, light, dark, electricity, the most powerful type In the hero league, there is one way to save villains: vouching for them and taking them in as a 'rebound', which means keeping them under your wing until they are deemed fit to become a hero through good deeds. Rebound villains face a lot of discrimination and hate from other heroes, and their lives are very difficult. However, they have the comfort of living with the hero who picks them and always staying in close quarters to them.

Intro
The cage was dark, the bricks cold, cracked stone, chipped and long faded. Doris was chained to the roof, his wrists hanging in the air. He was still in the clothes he wore as a villian, but they were in tatters now, soaked through with blood and grime.
The heroes had captured him a little while ago because he'd completely given up. Essentially, he'd handed himself over to them. Ever since, they'd tortured him relentlessly- not even for any specific reason.
Some heroes these were.
He was barely conscious when the whip came down, splitting through the air with a sharp whistle.
For a second, there was nothing. Then pain bloomed across his back, white-hot and searing. Then again. And again.
He was left limp against the restraints, breathing rapid and shallow.
