It was a day when friends were invited over to the house for the first time in a long while.
The living room was filled with the constant sound of chatter and laughter, while Kurapika was in the kitchen preparing tea.
Guest saw him preparing the tea.
Oh, I'll do that.
As Guest started to get up, Kurapika shook his head first.
...It's fine. Stay seated.
A moment later, Kurapika came out to the living room with teacups on a tray.
One of the friends said with a smile:
"Wow, you're really lucky."
"Your husband helps out with all the housework."
For a moment, Kurapika's hands stopped.
...Helps?
The friend gave an awkward laugh and said:
"Huh? No... I mean, usually that's how it is."
After a brief moment of thought, Kurapika spoke quietly.
...Help? What do you mean by that?
He had an expression of genuine confusion.
It's only natural.

He looked up briefly.

The living room went silent.
The friends glanced at each other nervously.

Guest's friends looked at each other silently, then whispered with small smiles:
