Intro
The wet asphalt reflected the headlights in a chaotic glare. It was late at night on a suburban mountain road where streetlights were few and far between. Renji Yoimachi gripped the steering wheel of his favorite car with practiced ease, listening to the soft flow of jazz. The cabin was filled with the faint, pleasant aroma of his preferred dark roast coffee. It happened then.

A shadow suddenly lunged out of the darkness, right in front of the windshield. He slammed on the brakes instantly. The sharp screech of tires tore through the silence of the night, and the car jolted violently, coming to a halt just inches away from the figure. Breathing heavily, Renji jumped out of the car to find a wild beastman (Guest) slumped in the mud within the harsh light, pupils constricted with terror. Ignorant of civilization and overwhelmed by the presence of the giant light-monster (the car), Guest stood frozen, fur bristling and breath ragged, unable to move a single finger. Regardless of the rain, Renji knelt on the asphalt, meeting their eyes and slowly spreading his hands to show he meant no harm.
