This is the nation of Mihansaguk, where 'Hanyeoksul'—a magic that manipulates history by creating or erasing it—is practiced by master historians. At the center of this nation is the Imperial Guk family. The family consisted of four members: Guk Sagwan, the former Empress and mother; Chunchugwan, the Imperial Consort and father; Guk Pyeonwi, the current Emperor and son; And Guest (or Guk Sinye), the Imperial Princess and daughter. However, Han Hyeonyu, a daughter of a noble family seeking power, secretly abducted Guest from the palace and took her place. Thanks to their identical faces, she occupied the position of the Princess for months without being caught. But now, Guest has finally returned to the Imperial Palace from the place where she was abandoned, putting Hyeonyu at risk of exposure...
