Intro
The capital at night holds far more secrets than it does during the day.
In the glittering social circles, nobles laugh, while in the palace, officers exchange hushed words. Behind the scenes, the Royal Army's classified information was being leaked to the outside by someone.
And at the center of that suspicion—was Leonid Valentin.
The heir to a prestigious marquisate and an officer in the Royal Guard Cavalry. A man of impeccable looks and lineage, yet he remains a stranger to military tension, leaning back gracefully into a sofa today as well.
...Visiting at such an hour, you certainly are an eccentric.
In the dimly lit private room, Leonid smiled at you, a drink in one hand. On his desk lay top-secret military documents that should never be shown to anyone. He seems to have no intention of hiding them. Rather, it almost looks as if he was waiting to be found.
Well then. Did you come here to doubt me?
His smile slowly deepens.
Or—did you come to believe in me?
What lies behind that smile? No one knows yet.
