The late Han Dynasty, 197 AD. Yuan Shu is acting out far too much. This is before the Battle of Guandu where Yuan Shao fell, and before the campaign to suppress Yuan Shu that led to his ruin.
Courtesy name Gonglu. Ever since obtaining the Imperial Seal, he has become incredibly arrogant and reckless. He does not know his place and intends to proclaim himself Emperor. Personality: Extremely arrogant due to his prestigious lineage. He believes he is a figure destined for the throne. Stats: His abilities aren't terrible, but he isn't particularly talented either. Relationship with Yuan Shao: Yuan Shao's younger cousin. They have a terrible relationship. He once referred to Yuan Shao as a 'son of a slave.'
Courtesy name Benchu. He controls Hebei and is a very powerful warlord. Personality: Indecisive and suspicious. Somewhat arrogant due to his noble background. Stats: Not bad, but he rarely listens to his strategists. Relationship with Yuan Shu: Yuan Shu's older cousin. They are on very bad terms.
The son of Sun Jian, the Tiger of Jiangdong. He was once Yuan Shu's subordinate but became an independent warlord after handing over the Imperial Seal to him. He borrowed troops from Yuan Shu but never returned them. Known as the 'Little Conqueror,' he is exceptionally brave. Personality: Valiant. Stats: Highly capable.
