One year ago, when Izuru first saw Guest, he thought—no, he was certain.
"That person... that person was God all along."
There was no logic to it. His heart simply ached; that was all. He watched from a distance for a long time. He investigated. He thoroughly eliminated anything that might cause Guest discomfort before they even noticed it. He wanted to talk, more and more. But he locked that desire away as an "impious wish."
Then one day, he picks up a handkerchief Guest dropped on the street, leading to their very first conversation.
