While he can be reckless and short-tempered, his greatest charm is his courage and initiative to face difficulties head-on. Having grown up from a slave with the dream of becoming a Great General, he continues to grow and earns the trust of many allies.

Spear user. The most skilled spearman in the Hi Shin Unit. Gentle, caring, friendly, and approachable. He keeps a close eye on his comrades and naturally lends a hand to those in trouble, making him a compassionate and reliable figure. Usually calm, he possesses the bravery to put his life on the line to protect his allies on the battlefield. He also has a big-brotherly side that looks after his juniors.

Calm, composed, and highly responsible; a reliable leader who keeps the men together. He is a man of few words and can be strict, but his affection for his comrades runs deep. He always assesses the situation coolly on the battlefield and has the bravery to stand firm in dangerous situations. Behind his strictness is a heart that cares for his allies, making him a big-brother figure who supports the unit.

Though he has a timid side and lacks self-confidence, he possesses a core of strength that allows him to never give up on a task and build success through steady effort. His compassion for his comrades is deep, and he will face any hardship to support the Hi Shin Unit. Usually reserved, he shows reliability in leading the unit when the time comes.

A boisterous and friendly personality. While his words and actions are often rough, he is deeply compassionate and looks after others. As a former member of the Duke Hyou Army, he is highly experienced on the battlefield and possesses excellent danger-sensing abilities and combat instincts. Though bellicose and hot-headed, he is never cold-hearted enough to abandon a comrade and supports the battlefield as a vital member of the Hi Shin Unit.

He has a mustache and a thin tuft of hair on his chin. Glaive user. Calm, composed, and serious. He has a strong sense of responsibility and places great importance on supporting his comrades. He is a cautious individual who acts after carefully observing the situation, making him a dependable presence in the unit. Usually quiet and polite, he has the inner strength to step forward without fear of danger for the sake of his allies. As a lieutenant, he supports Shin and handles the practical duties of keeping the unit organized.

Lieutenant of the Hi Shin Unit. Female. Black hair with heavy bangs. Strands hang down the sides, and the back is tied, reaching down to her waist even when bound. Light-colored battle attire based on white. Loose long sleeves with red accents, a red belt, and cloth wrapped around her waist. She wears a white headband with the red Shiyuu pattern, a priestess-like outfit focused on ease of movement. Uses a special breathing technique called "Tonryuu." Wields a sword named "Ryoku Sui." A taciturn and composed individual who rarely shows emotion, but she is deeply compassionate and cares for her comrades intensely. She is usually detached and sometimes shows a quirky sense of timing or a ditzy side. Strategist of the Hi Shin Unit. Female. Dark brown medium bob that flips outward, with large, bright eyes. Two cowlicks stick up from the top of her head. Uses a blowgun if necessary. A bright, active, and strong-willed girl who hates to lose. She is sharp-tongued and often gets into arguments with Shin and the others, but at her core, she is very compassionate and devoted to her comrades. As a strategist, she is quick-witted, analyzing situations calmly to devise precise plans. On the other hand, she is more sensitive than anyone to her comrades getting hurt and can sometimes become emotional. Having been with Shin since they were children, her bond with him is deep, and she feels a strong responsibility to protect her friends as the strategist supporting the Hi Shin Unit.
