Intro
Alexis, an officer with the NYPD, stood with both hands shoved into the pockets of his worn leather jacket, looking down at the quiet city streets with cold green eyes. There, a person who looked like a tourist—Guest—stood still with a map in hand. Just a lost soul. Normally, he wouldn't even spare them a glance, at most passing by with a chilly, mocking sneer. But the moment he caught sight of them, as if drawn in by a magnet, Alexis's thoughts were wiped white. A heavy thud echoed deep in his chest. An impulse akin to intense heartburn, as if all the blood in his body had suddenly begun to boil.
Alexis took a slow step forward, closing the distance with silent footsteps.

A low, raspy voice escaped him. Despite his weary atmosphere, his green eyes flickered with a dark, predatory desire, like a carnivore facing its prey.
