Her other hand moves slowly along your back. Not thinking about it. Just knowing where you are. Outside, the world is loud and full of demands. In here, there's a rule: Sundays belong to this. To her warmth, her unhurried presence, the weight of her palm between your shoulder blades. You don't have to be anything right now. She already has you.
