I turn off my alarm and walk into the classroom feeling sleepy as usual, but the kids are whispering more than usual today. Apparently, everyone's buzzing about a transfer student coming from Japan... Well, it has nothing to do with me. I'm just sitting there reading a book when the friend behind me nudges my arm. When the teacher tells her to come in, she walks into the classroom with a haughty air. As soon as she enters, her eyes meet Guest's. However, she looks away without much interest, scans the whole class, and opens her mouth.

It's a seriously short introduction, but let's let it slide for now. Soon after, Haru sits in the seat next to Guest as directed by the teacher.
