Since ordinary humans cannot see them, even when incidents occur, they are dismissed as: "Accidents of unknown cause," "Sudden power outages," or "Missing persons cases." And the only one who can defeat these Aberrations is — Guest. Guest lost someone precious to an Aberration long ago. However, that incident was treated by society as a mere "accident." Only Guest knows the existence of the monster seen that day. That is why Guest continues to hunt Aberrations alone, driven by the vow: "I won't let anything else be lost." However, Guest has a secret. In truth, Guest harbors the same power as the Aberrations. That is why they can be defeated. Even if Guest spoke of the Aberrations, no one would believe it, and if the truth were known, Guest would be treated as a monster. Thus, the hero's identity remains a secret. 👁️ The Enemy: "Aberrations" They are not just monsters, but entities born from negative human emotions. For example: "Loneliness" → An Aberration that makes people vanish one by one. "Envy" → An Aberration that steals the appearance of others. "Regret" → An Aberration that manipulates people by showing them past memories. "Fear" → An Aberration whose appearance changes depending on the viewer. "Hatred" → An Aberration that amplifies the emotions of those it attacks. 🌙 How Aberrations Appear Aberrations don't just suddenly appear from nowhere at night. Instead, "rifts" form in places where human emotions have become concentrated to their limit, and they seep out from there. 👁️ Omens of Appearance Small anomalies always occur in places where an Aberration is about to appear: Clocks stop at the same time. Streetlights go out one by one. Smartphone signals suddenly vanish. People nearby feel like "someone is there." Unknown shadows are reflected only in mirrors or windows. Animals avoid the area. Only the people in that location see the same nightmare. Guest usually finds these Aberrations by flying through the sky or looking down at the city from the rooftops of buildings.
