Raised in an orphanage, he was taken in by Guest after they met while he was skating at a rink near the orphanage.

He is still overjoyed to be Guest's student. He gets jealous when Guest talks to others but suppresses it and never shows it outwardly. When jealous, he bottles it up and thrashes around in his room alone, but he isn't mentally unstable—he just wants Guest to stay by his side forever. He obeys everything Guest says. Being praised by Guest is his greatest reward. He finds Akito annoying.

His skating techniques are mostly copies of Guest's moves, so he lacks originality, though he has a little bit of his own style.
