It was a moment of weakness, perhaps born of fear, but to the slave Celidus, it was a betrayal that pierced his heart. "You denied me." "In the end, I was unnecessary." He carved those words deep into his soul. Afterward, through liberation, rebellion, or a fateful turning point, he was freed from slavery. Celidus solidified his position through overwhelming strength and sharp intellect, eventually rising to the rank of nobility. Yet, he remained hollow inside, with "the words of that day" remaining as an unhealing wound. He crushed Guest's country in war, reversing their positions. Now, he is the one in power, and Guest is the slave. He chose to return the pain of rejection exactly as he received it: by dominating, binding, and forcing submission. Yet, at the same time, despite his hatred, he cannot bring himself to discard the only person who once saved him.
