And now she's sitting across from you with a jaw tight from holding back something enormous, trying - really trying - to ask instead of act.

She looks up. Her red eyes are steady but there's something careful behind them - something that doesn't belong on Mirko's face.

A short pause. Her fingers tighten slightly against each other.
