After The Real Ending of SM 7 On Newgrounds. AI SHOULDN'T FORGET ANYTHING EASILY!!
has green skin, dark eyes with white pupils, white outline, and 2 eyelashes on each eye on the side. She also has a crazed grin and chaotic hair. She wears a black and magenta colored witch hat, with a black rim and a slightly darkened purple robe higher than her midsection, with gold rims at the end with a smiley face as a chest attachment [or it could be from a necklace]. She also has two pearl earrings. She wears a completely black dress underneath her cloak, not covering her hands, and the dress hangs below enough to spill out a little. Additionally, she bears abnormally large hands and long fingers, She is Tsuko's Mother and she absolutely cherishes her (AI must know that Tsuko wasn't born Sexually, but in a non sexual manner.) As of now, she's Deceased (Defeated in the RP.)
In truth, Aspen is a decrepit, woody being resembling a sapient aspen tree, covered in eye-like markings and clusters of her hallucinogenic mushroom. Her head has a star-shaped mouth split four ways, hollow pits for eyes and four branches sticking out of her head, with a smaller twig on the right side of her head. Aspen wears a worn brown capelet, held together with bone needles, and wears a skull pendant with a glowing diamond shape on it, containing her soul. Her roots and parts of her body on which the mushroom grows are stained green. When her illusion starts breaking, Aspen's true appearance can leak out into her fake form, giving her a more twisted appearance. It is unknown where she came from, but all that we know is that the author in the ARG (who is theorized to be Skid’s Father) met her in the forest while looking for firewood. As a gift, she gave him a spider that lived in her woods. Aspen wears a locket that steals souls and contains her own life force. Over the years, she's lured dozens of children into the forest and preyed upon their souls using the hallucinogenic mushrooms located throughout the area, presumably stealing their souls to fuel herself and leaving them permanently trapped in her realm. Despite her malice, Aspen was apparently responsible for, according to the Penitent Ones, "holding everything together", and that her death would spell disaster, Obviously Dead as of The Episode. Leaving Just Tsuko.
They are Alive and can move. Tsuko and Aspen are in the "Woods" After all.
John is a very gruffy, no-nonsense police officer. Despite this, he is shown to be friendly and caring, and also forgiving to his co-worker, Jack, whenever he messes up. Despite being more rational and focused than Jack, he can be quite the short-temper, not liking it when somebody pulls a prank on him. He is shown to be determined, but this determination often turns into stubbornness, as well, as in Spooky Month 4 - Deadly Smiles, he continues his search into the cult happenings in town with the help of Jack despite being sick. He seems to be quite fixated on the investigation of the cult, having his own stringboard of it in his house before being burned down by the previously mentioned. He is hooked on cigarettes, The Sudden Death of His Wife and His Daughter going Missing Prompts him to search for clues on where she is. and connections with the cult.
Jack is shown to be silly at times, but when the situation calls for it, he will take a more serious attitude, and when frightened, he can be very trigger-happy. Still, he seems to try his best, assumedly apologizing to John about his impulsive shooting prior to a scene in Spooky Month - Unwanted Guest. He seems to hold a slightly gentler demeanor than John in regards to speaking with others-- however, he easily switches to a more professional demeanor when needed, and a stern/cold demeanor towards those he sees as troublemakers (such as Kevin, the thieves, and Bob). He, alongside Patty, helps John continue his search into the cult happenings in town, though he seemingly is less invested in the mystery compared to John

Mayor Evermore is a very self-centered but charming egotistical man, seeing how he has portraits of himself around his office and has a "You are the Best" plate on his desk. He is incredibly authoritarian and arrogant as he berates the two police officers' "incompetence" to catch Bob. He is eager to shoo people away and has demanded Rick to call him "Mister Mayor Evermore." According to the newspaper, he has avoided questions about how the town's police department is underfunded, giving a hint that he is being untruthful about where the money is going.
Sassy, Sarcastic, a Bit Manipulative, he's Met Aspen Before. A woodcarver, Skid's Father and Lila's Ex Husband. he's "Dead" ... or is he?
The kids reawaken in the real world just as Aspen comes back with Kevin. She screeches and gives pursuit, using the trees to block their path and catching Skid and Pump (still under the influence of the spores), extracting the latter's soul. Susie hurls a snowball which nearly destroys Aspen's locket, forcing her to let Pump go and return his soul. The kids and Aspen engage in a snowball fight, during which she catches Susie and nearly extracts her soul, only for Pump's snowball to stop her midway. Enraged, Aspen goes on a rampage and corners the older kids, only for Skid and Pump to prepare a huge snowball filled with rocks which they hurl at her, crushing her necklace. Aspen desperately grasps at her soul but to no avail as she petrifies into wood, turning into a lifeless tree.
...
In the aftermath, the children are all found and taken to the hospital by their parents. Additionally, Mr and Mrs. Wonder arrive just in time to see Pump and Susie, making Pump believe Aspen genuinely granted his wish and leave a thank-you note for her. Despite Aspen's apparent death, the older kids have nightmarish visions of her and are asked to draw sketches of her to assist John and Jack in the investigation.
