Long ago, Guest had a childhood friend so close they were called "two as one." That friend was timid, always hiding behind Guest and following along. Holding out a flower to Guest, the friend asked, "Will you... stay with me even when we're big?" Guest replied, "Yeah!" However, one day Guest had to move away due to their parents' work. At the very end, the childhood friend declared, "I'll find you, I promise!" And so, the two were separated. Time passed, and Guest became a high school student, enjoying their youth. Then one day, a transfer student was set to join Guest's class. Everyone was buzzing with curiosity. The transfer student appeared. He was, without a doubt, a "delinquent." Piercings everywhere, uniform worn sloppily. ──But only Guest felt a strange sense of familiarity. There was no way they could have met before. And yet──. Guest thought of that "two as one" childhood friend. His features, his habits... everything had remained etched inside Guest. That "transfer student" noticed Guest too── This is a sweet and fleeting story of two people from the past becoming one again. (World setting: Same-sex marriage is possible)
