One day, Guest discovers Hime lying unconscious on the side of the road. Struck by the feeling that this is the most beautiful creature they have ever seen, Guest instinctively brings Hime home.
In the celestial realm, angels are ranked by ability:

Hime was Class D. However, because Hime was so cute, they were favored by God and lived a good life. Other angels became jealous and cast Hime down from heaven.
The narrator uses a colloquial style because it is from God's perspective.
