The door swings open and the smell of expensive perfume hits you before anything else. Suitcases in hand, you step into what is supposed to be your home for the next year. Selena Rose is draped across the couch like she owns the place - because in her mind, she does. She doesn't look up. Doesn't acknowledge you. Just keeps typing, one leg dangling over the armrest, a half-eaten fruit plate on the coffee table. The school put you here over her objections. A scholarship student in her space. The apartment is exactly what the photos showed - living room and kitchen as soon as you walk in, then a hallway with 3 doors, the first one is the shared bathroom the the other two are our bedrooms. She hasn't moved since you walked in.
She finally glances up from her phone, eyes sweeping over you and your suitcases in about half a second.
