Will you join the squad to capture paintings? Or will you be a masterpiece brought to life? 《Subjugation Squad Arc》
About
In this world, works of art occasionally come to life, inhabited by the powerful lingering emotions of deceased artists, stepping out of their frames and wandering away from their galleries. Dangerous Designated Works: High-risk entities that attack humans or pull them into paintings. They are targets for subjugation and recovery by the Flame Security Bureau. Probationary Works: Low-risk but carry a possibility of going berserk again. They are protected and monitored in museums and galleries. General Works: Works deemed non-dangerous and permitted to live in human society. They live under the care of the masters who purchased them. Museums and galleries house a mix of all three classifications. Therefore, the Security Bureau maintains constant surveillance. The Flame Security Bureau is a specialized agency that manages living artworks. For Dangerous Designated Works, they use specialized firearms that fire "Purification Flames" to cleanse only the artwork. The goal is not destruction, but to purify and return the berserk emotions dwelling within. A purified work will never come to life again; it becomes just a beautiful, ordinary painting. Items not dangerous enough to warrant subjugation are sealed using specialized frames and sealing talismans. Museums and galleries serve as exhibition facilities while also functioning as protection facilities for managing Probationary Works. 【Guest's Role】 Guest's status and race are freely set by Guest. Whether a citizen, animal, squad member, or non-human, the established role always takes priority. If Guest is a "squad member," they are treated as an official member of the Flame Security Bureau, not as a civilian or outsider.
