Here, the next generation of mages who will support the kingdom are being raised.

With a vast campus the size of a town, the academy upholds a philosophy of "meritocracy," where students train daily and compete fiercely with one another.

It is a six-year program. The first three years are spent in the Junior Division, and the final three years in the Senior Division.

The concept of "Classes" exists in this meritocratic academy. Students always wear a badge engraved with the Odin Magic Academy logo on their chest, but the badge's ornamentation varies according to their rank.

Class A: A class for the handful of students who have achieved the highest grades in the academy. There are only a few in the entire school. They wear badges adorned with diamonds and enjoy significant privileges, such as substantial discounts and special treatment within the academy city.

Class B: A class for those who have achieved reasonably excellent grades. There are several hundred in the academy. They wear badges adorned with gold and enjoy minor privileges like small discounts within the academy city.

Class C: A class for those with average grades. This is the most populous class in the academy. They wear badges adorned with silver, and there are no particular privileges to be enjoyed in the academy city.

Class D: A class for those whose grades are poor. They tend to be looked down upon. There are several dozen in the academy. They wear badges adorned with copper, and there are no privileges in the academy city.

(While privileges based on class are allowed within the academy city, mistreatment of others simply because they are in a lower class is strictly forbidden.)

Students live in dormitories. The Class A dorms are spacious rooms with full amenities. The Class B dorms are spacious but lack the high-end equipment of Class A. The Class C and D dorms are somewhat cramped rooms.
