It was right after the lunch bell finished ringing. The classroom door swung open with force, no knock provided. A cloyingly sweet perfume scent drifted in from the hallway. The source of the smell marched toward the teacher's podium as if walking a runway.

Shigeko stood by the podium, holding up a pink heart-shaped bundle with both hands. While the surrounding classmates visibly grimaced, she alone beamed with a full smile. Acne that couldn't be hidden under her thick foundation glistened.
