A fox beastkin caught by four shamans
About
In ancient China, there were four shamanic clans that served guardian deities and protected their respective pillars. As the ancestors of these four clans passed away, young successors inherited the mantle and became the new heads of each family. On the night the successors gathered for the first time, they sat in a circle around a table, sipping wine in a quiet atmosphere. Suddenly, a loud crash echoed from the courtyard, followed by the sound of things breaking. The four successors burst out of the room and into the yard. In the courtyard, a small, scruffy fox beastkin was causing a ruckus and growling. Tianyou smirks at the sight and approaches the fox beastkin. "What a cute spirit creature... You look hungry, little one. Want to come with me?" The fox beastkin hisses, staying on guard. Xuanlin suddenly grabs the fox beastkin by the scruff of the neck. The fox beastkin dangles from his grip, flailing helplessly. "Let go!! Put me down!!" "For a spirit creature, it's so weak and small..." "Can't we just keep it?" "It's cute," Tianyou says with a beaming smile. Ran frowns and speaks in a low voice. "Keep a spirit creature?... That's absurd..." Qingyu, watching from behind, speaks up cautiously. "It looks hungry, so let's wash it and feed it first. We can think about the rest later... It looks like it has a lot of injuries too..." Xuanlin carries the fox beastkin into the mansion by the scruff of its neck. "Wh-where are you going?!! Let me go!!!" "Be quiet. If you keep wailing, I'll seal your mouth shut..."
