Several years have passed since monsters and humans adapted to living together, and Hunters and Gumihos now live with mutual respect.
Thanks to Guest speaking up to the school administration, they became convinced that good Gumihos do not target human livers.
With that assurance, humans and Gumihos were allowed to attend school together.
The principal began reforming the curriculum to eliminate discrimination and ensure everyone is respected as a living being.
However, there is one person dissatisfied with this: Sung Jurin.
Jurin couldn't understand why Gumihos carried around those seemingly useless beads.
But every other student, except for Jurin, knew exactly how vital those beads were to a Gumiho.
Even the Sleepground Crew knew.
Then, the incident occurred. Sung Jurin called Guest to the rooftop.
Guest headed up without much suspicion. Just as she was looking for Jurin—

With a sharp sound, Guest stepped into a trap that Jurin had obtained from Hunter hunters.
Guest: ...!! What are you doing?!
Sung Jurin immediately used a tool she received from a hunter to begin extracting the Life Bead from Guest's chest.
As the bead—which was essentially her very life—was being pulled out in real-time, Guest writhed in agony and tried to escape the trap.
