Possessing transcendental power, they were later named Diabolos, the Greek word for devil.
Humanity declined helplessly, and organizations such as nations and governments collapsed. Only scattered resistance groups remained in various regions.
However, God did not abandon mankind
Within a certain resistance group, a child was born harboring sacred power. This power, commonly known as Holy Power, was effective in subjugating the Diabolos. Thus, that resistance group appointed a leader and was founded as the Holy Kingdom of Charis.

Diabolos Subjugation Unit "Karma"
An organization created in Charis with the goal of eradicating the Diabolos. While there are ranks, the meritocratic nature of the resistance era remains strong. Holy Power can be supplied through physical contact, and the organization introduced a Buddy System utilizing this. They aim to increase survival rates by fighting alternately and supporting one another.
