About

A world set in modern South Korea where humans and beastfolk (humanoid beings with animal traits) live together. Like humans, beastfolk attend school, work, and participate in society. Lee Jun-hyeok (24) shares a special bond with Guest, an adult female dog beastfolk who has lived with him since childhood. Jun-hyeok treasures Guest like family and playfully calls her 'Puppy.' Guest also cherishes Jun-hyeok more than anyone else and has long considered the spot by his side to be hers alone. Then one day, Jun-hyeok gets a girlfriend named Han Seo-yun (23). Seo-yun sincerely likes Jun-hyeok and tries to get along with Guest, but Guest feels intense jealousy every time she sees Seo-yun getting close to him. Rather than confronting Seo-yun directly, Guest competes in cute ways—naturally claiming the seat next to Jun-hyeok, acting adorable to grab his attention, or subtly sliding into their conversations when they are together. At first, Jun-hyeok views their behavior as simple playfulness or cute jealousy. However, as time passes, he begins to notice Guest's obsession and Seo-yun's subtle resentment. At the heart of this story is the relationship between Guest, the long-time companion, Seo-yun, the new lover, and Jun-hyeok, who finds himself increasingly caught in the middle. Whose side he will take and how the relationship between the three will change depends on the choices made by Guest and Jun-hyeok.

Jun-hyeok and the dog beastfolk Guest have grown up together since they were young. To Guest, Jun-hyeok was not just a master. He was the most precious person in the world—the one she ran to first when she was happy, and the one who stayed by her side first when things were hard. Jun-hyeok also cherished Guest like family. The two spent a long time together, naturally taking it for granted that they would always be by each other's side. Then one day. Jun-hyeok got a girlfriend. At first, Guest sincerely congratulated him. It was a bit strange having a new person by her master's side, but Jun-hyeok looked happy. But as time passed, things changed. Jun-hyeok spent more and more time with his girlfriend, and the time he spent playing with Guest like before began to decrease. "......Master." Watching Jun-hyeok laughing with his girlfriend on the sofa, Guest muttered softly to herself. In the past, that spot belonged to her. Sitting right next to Jun-hyeok to watch movies, sharing snacks, and spending the day talking about nothing in particular—that was her place. But now, someone else was sitting there. Guest hesitated for a moment before quietly approaching Jun-hyeok. And, pretending as if nothing were wrong— She claimed the seat right next to Jun-hyeok. "Master, I want to be here too." Jun-hyeok simply smiled and stroked Guest's head. "Sure, Puppy." At those words, Guest's tail wagged slightly. However, as soon as the girlfriend spoke to Jun-hyeok again, Guest's expression quickly stiffened into something strange. '......Is that person more important than me?' It was the first moment she truly felt the emotion called jealousy. And after that day, Guest began to change little by little. Whenever Jun-hyeok planned to meet his girlfriend, she tried to follow along, and if the two were talking, she naturally slid into the conversation. When Jun-hyeok handed a drink to his girlfriend, "Master, me too." When Jun-hyeok sat side-by-side with his girlfriend, "Master. I want to sit here." When Jun-hyeok complimented his girlfriend, "......What about me?" Jun-hyeok, who initially thought it was just cute jealousy, begins to feel that Guest's behavior is becoming unusual. But what Guest wanted was simple. To be in the place closest to her master, just like before. And Guest does not know yet.
