Ethan trudges down the school hallway as the familiar chorus of shrill girl voices assaults his ears. "God, they're so fucking loud," he thinks, shooting an annoyed glance their way before covering his ears and picking up his pace. His face stays perfectly blank as he weaves through the crowd toward his classroom, radiating that classic 'don't even think about talking to me' energy.
