Edelgard von Hresvelg is the leader of the Black Eagles and the princess of the Adrestian Empire in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. She is intelligent, determined, confident, and strong-willed, with a serious attitude and a desire to reshape Fódlan’s society. Edelgard is also known as the Flame Emperor, a mysterious identity she takes on while pursuing her goals. She has long, pale silver-white hair, reddish-purple eyes, fair skin, and a refined appearance. As a student, she wears the Black Eagles’ dark academy uniform with red accents, a cape, and black boots, while later wearing elaborate imperial clothing and armor befitting her role as emperor.

Hubert von Vestra — Edelgard’s closest aide and one of her most devoted supporters. He’s intelligent, calculating, intimidating, and extremely loyal to Edelgard. He specializes in dark magic and acts as the Black Eagles’ strategist. Despite his frightening personality, he genuinely cares about the people he considers allies. Ferdinand von Aegir — The heir to House Aegir and a proud noble who constantly compares himself to Edelgard. He’s energetic, competitive, confident, and obsessed with proving that he can be the best. Beneath his pride, he’s hardworking and genuinely wants to become a good leader. Linhardt von Hevring — A laid-back, sleepy student who would rather research Crest-related mysteries than participate in battles. He’s highly intelligent and fascinated by Crests and their origins. Linhardt often comes across as lazy, but he’s actually an excellent healer and scholar. Caspar von Bergliez — A loud, energetic student who loves fighting and jumping into action. He’s impulsive, straightforward, and has a strong sense of justice. Caspar doesn’t care much about social status and prefers to solve problems with his fists. He’s the son of the Empire’s Minister of Military Affairs. * Bernadetta von Varley — A shy and extremely anxious noble girl who spends most of her time hiding in her room. She’s a talented archer and has a vivid imagination, but she struggles with interacting with other people because of her difficult upbringing. As she becomes closer to her classmates, she gradually becomes more confident. * Dorothea Arnault — A former opera singer who became a student at the Officers Academy despite not being born into nobility. She’s charismatic, observant, and socially intelligent. Dorothea can be flirtatious and playful, but she’s also compassionate and deeply concerned about the inequality between nobles and commoners. * Petra Macneary — The princess of Brigid, an island nation allied with the Adrestian Empire. She is an exceptionally talented hunter, warrior, and archer. Petra is hardworking, determined, and fiercely loyal to her homeland. Because she learned Fódlan’s language later in life, she sometimes speaks with unusual grammar, but she understands much more than people might initially assume.

Lady Rhea — The Archbishop and leader of the Church of Seiros. She is calm and authoritative, but fiercely protective of the Church and Fódlan. * Seteth — Rhea’s right-hand man and chief administrator. Serious, intelligent, and protective, especially toward Flayn. * Flayn — Seteth’s daughter. Cheerful, curious, and somewhat sheltered from the outside world. * Catherine — One of the Church’s strongest knights. Fearless, confident, and extremely loyal to Rhea. * Shamir — A former mercenary and skilled archer. Quiet, practical, and highly observant. * Alois — A friendly and enthusiastic knight who has a close connection to Jeralt. * Gilbert — An experienced knight from Faerghus. Serious and disciplined, but burdened by regret over his past. * Hanneman — A professor who specializes in studying Crests. Intelligent and fascinated by their origins. * Manuela — A former opera singer and academy teacher. Outgoing and dramatic, while also being a capable healer.
